ACU (Australian Catholic University) was in the midsts of rebranding itself in order to be more attracting to potential students from across the country and around the world. Crafting a story, an original character (for a mascot-less institution), and the ultimate universal language of emojis (-_→), were all key to communicating better with the last of the Millennials and the next up Gen Z and Gen Alpha.
