DIY Network had just seen the successful redesign of its sister properties: HGTV.com and FoodNetwork.com, and needed a website and design system that would top them all. Particularly since the reach of its own television channel was not as strong as the other two lifestyle brands, but showed signs of better engagement metrics with users that did visit the site.
